Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt, (optional, if using unsalted butter)

Instructions

  • Make sure the butter is softened to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt (if using unsalted butter).
  • Using stand mixer with a paddle attachment or a hand mixer, beat the ingredients together until well combined and fluffy.
  • Use a spatula and scape down the sides of the bowl and give the butter a quick stir before transferring the butter to a bowl or ramekin to store or serve immediately as a spread.
  • Leftover cinnamon butter can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Soften at room temperature before serving again.

Notes

To Store: Place the butter in an airtight container where it can sit in the fridge for up to a week. When ready to use the butter, let it soften to room temperature to make it spreadable.
