Ingredients

For the Crust

  • 24 Oreo cookies finely crushed
  • 5 tablespoons butter melted

For the Cream Cheese Layer

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Cool Whip

For the Chocolate Filling

  • 1 (5.9-ounce) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 1/2 cups cold milk

For the Topping

  • Remaining Cool Whip
  • Chocolate shavings, crushed pecans or walnuts, chocolate syrup drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Combine crushed Oreos and melted butter, stirring until fully coated.

  • Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie dish and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
  • In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  • Fold in 1 cup of Cool Whip until fully combined.

  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled Oreo crust.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth.

  • Spread the pudding evenly over the cream cheese layer and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  • Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding layer.

Use a store-bought crust. If you are short on time or just prefer a store-bought crust, you can easily swap in a premade Oreo crust!
